Dance Litter 2025
Expected February 25, 2025
The Backstory
It was August 2022 and I was in Western Canada showing at the Canadian National when I saw Bev Davies of Waskasoo Beagles put this lovely, stylish Beagle up on a table who had one of the sweetest expressions I've seen to date. After asking Bev a million questions about her, I couldn't get her out of my head. With such lovely features, the sweetest disposition and a pedigree I found so interesting, I asked if Bev would be open to having me lease her for a litter.
I've always admired Eeva Resko's line. Her hounds that were often ground-covering substantial Beagles with stylish outlines and great leg under them while still managing to have sweet, pleading expressions. My vision for my young program was to find a way to incorporate Daragoj for the valuable traits they offer while working towards combining them with North American lines that I've been working on building my program around.
I was lucky to find Bev's line somewhat in my backyard which carried forward multiple generations of stylish hounds who not only offered really exciting pedigrees, but wonderful temperaments as well. Since September of 2023, I've been sharing my home with Lily and have been eagerly awaiting an ultrasound filled with little beating hearts.
My Vision
Given that Lily was tightly bred, I expected that no matter who I paired her with, I predict that I will likely see her and the Beagles shes built on come forward strongly. With this in mind, I wanted to be sure I paired her with a Sire who I could trust to give her traits to improve her but still allow her phenotype to shine.
Chase is a Sire who I have a lot of faith in. His pedigree is filled with dogs who I've spent years researching and ones I'm extremely familiar with. He has a beautiful way of allowing the bitches he's bred to come through while improving toplines and shoulders. He definitely shines best when bitches with substance are brought to him and Lily being almost all of 15" with excellent bone and leg under her just made sense. And, while distant, he does bring his own piece of Daragoj back behind him to boot.

I have witnessed some lovely Beagles come down from Lily's Sire "Andy" - Daragoj Heaven On Earth and he is a dog I'm especially excited to have in my future pedigrees. As always, movement is a high priority for my program and I'm thrilled to have the beautiful movers in Chase's pedigree combined with the lovely moving dogs in Lily's.

As always, we can execute the best laid breeding plans and we still roll the dice with how genetics combine. However, I'm quite excited about this pairing and look forward to sharing their journey once they are here and safe!
Honouring the Artistry
Chase - GCH Flying Ears Thrill of the Hunt At Redlaur
It goes without saying that I am so incredibly thankful to the Breeders who came before me. Through their visions alone, I am given this exciting opportunity to do this pairing. A massive thank you to Bev Davies for trusting this bright-eyed, bushy tail and over-enthusiastic young breeder with a dream. I will forever be indebted for trusting me to carry forward not only your pedigrees but also housing Ms. Lily and supporting her through this next big stage. Thank you to Eeva Resko of Daragoj for her artistry and lineage she has shared in both Bev's program and hopefully my own. And as always, thank you to Chase's Breeder Sue Aldene for breeding such a sound stud dog through and through and his owner Laurie Gott for always be accommodating each and every time I've used this dog. Without these individuals I would not be announcing this breeding today - so thank you all!
Availability
While the spots I have saved for my companion homes are spoken for, I will be moving forward by holding open spots for any potential Beagles from this litter who sparkle just a little bit more. While this will be the only breeding I do with Lily and she will most likely be retired after this, my hope is to share one or two from this litter who show a lot of potential as a way to spider-web access to these pedigrees in the future. Breeders out there who know these lines and visions align with my own, I am open to discussing potential show/breeding prospects placements should I have any to spare.
